HELLO, I'M DR. EMILY TURINAS
I'm dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based individual adult therapy and assessment testing. I work to build a space that's empathetic, warm, and thoughtful. At Live Oak Psychology, I work with those struggling with peripartum/postpartum, life transitions, developmental traumas, and relational concerns. I specialize in life transition counseling and therapy for new moms. I approach therapy collaboratively and with curiosity. I strive to build a supportive and safe environment by working through a lens of empathy and understanding.
I offer in person adult therapy in Denver and provide therapy services in Austin through a hybrid approach, combining in-person and online sessions. With this approach, our initial meeting and monthly follow-ups can be held in person, allowing us to meet and check in face-to-face. Other sessions are conducted virtually, offering the convenience of therapy from the comfort of your home and elimination of travel time. I also offer virtual treatment for individuals throughout Texas and Colorado. Additionally, I provide virtual adult ADHD and learning disability testing.
