Adult ADHD and Learning Disability Testing
Dr. Turinas provides assessment evaluations for ADHD, IQ/giftedness, learning disabilities, and diagnostic clarifications. Testing maybe used for school or standardized test accommodation needs. All testing is customized to the patients needs and a report will be provided following all testing. Psychological evaluations involve multiple meetings as described in the timeline below.
Assessment testing can be a helpful starting place for people who are curious about themselves, have unclear diagnosis, or have been in therapy before and struggled to make progress. Completing testing can help build insight and allow for a highly informed approach to therapy. Testing is collaborative and directed to answer any questions you may have as well as inform future therapy. Denver and Austin ADHD testing can be conducted in-person if scheduling allows or virtual ADHD testing is available.

Testing Process:

Call to get scheduled: During your initial call Dr. Turinas will assess your needs, assure testing is the best option, and get you scheduled.

Clinical Interview:
This is a 1-hour meeting to gather background information and learn about your testing needs and questions.

Testing:
Based on your needs testing is customized, and can range from 2-6 hours, breaks can be taken as needed.

Feedback Session:
This is a 1-hour meeting to review testing results, explain implications, and answer any questions.

What is Tested
When testing for ADHD and learning disabilities, a full battery of tests is given including achievement tests, personality tests, cognitive tests, and self-report measures.
Insurance & Fees
I do not accept insurance for testing, but can provide superbills that can be submitted to your insurance in effort to receive reimbursement. Comprehensive ADHD & Learning Disability testing is $2000.
Cancelation Policy
Intake appointments that are canceled with less then 24 (business) hours notice will be charged in full. Assessment testing must be canceled 7 days prior to avoid a charge.
